Self-Love

Do you love yourself? No, really do you? This is a serious question that requires a thoughtful response; because just as it requires a lot of thought before you would tell anyone that you love them, you don’t want to tell yourself “I love you” without taking the time to clearly recognize your truest feelings. First of all Self-Love is not narcissism. And, love is more than just a four-letter word. Love is an action. I could go through what I feel love is and go through everything that the Bible tells us about love (you can read it in my … Continue reading Self-Love

Love At First Sight

Do you believe in Love At First Sight? For some this may be an easy question. I feel only people who have been really heartbroken or those who have been lucky to find their soul mate at a young age are able to pop out a quick response. I recently asked myself this question, because of my feelings for someone I recently met a few weeks ago. And honestly for the past 8 days, she has been constantly on my mind. Help Me to Help You

For the last few weeks I’ve been reading John Maxwell’s daily devotional book on leadership every morning. As I … Continue reading Help Me to Help You

10 months in Hollywood

Sitting here at a café; I sit and ponder upon life, specifically my life. I gaze outside of the window and see people walking along the sidewalk, cars driving, and various productions studios where various TV programs are filmed, like Sunset and Gower Studios and Nickelodeon studios. I rarely meet anyone who can relate to that part of me … Continue reading 10 months in Hollywood

Speechless.

Approaching someone you’re attracted to can be very intimidating at times. Some people are cool with being rejected.. they can go up to one person after another, and get rejected every time.. haha 🙂 – that’s not me, I hate rejection, but I’m starting to believe that I need to feel rejection in order to appreciate the feelings of acceptance that a good relationship can bring. Can having the right words to say dramatically increase a man’s chance in getting a woman’s attention when approaching her, or do they even matter? One of my friends advocates this, and I feel the … Continue reading Speechless.
