Can You Handle The Truth?
What do you want to hear? Ever since I watched a movie called A Few Good Men, I will never forget the line between Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson where a lawyer is examining a witness and strongly demands truth… as the lawyer says, “I want the truth!”, the witness replies with this, “You can’t handle the truth!” That statement definitely provokes a thought worth thinking about when you ask someone, even yourself, any question. Are you able to handle the truths in your life, and the reality in the world around you? One of the many truths (or facts) … Continue reading Can You Handle The Truth?
Sunday Inspiration
This morning I woke up really tired and uninspired… and even though I’m smiling at my words, because I know it sounds or reads a little depressing — nonetheless, it’s true. So, let me take a some time and look into my Bible for some inspiring words. This morning, I have decided to read a Psalm of David. Though I read the Bible often, I rarely read through the Book of Psalms. It’s unlike any other book in the Bible; it’s a book that doesn’t read easily chapter to chapter, because each chapter is written from a different perspective. It’s … Continue reading Sunday Inspiration
Being Poetic..
My heart flows with a pressing deception Like a bird in a cage, I feel trapped with no direction These dark streets will have no mercy On the faint of heart, living a life in naivety Pressed to believe the … Continue reading Being Poetic..
One Life to Live
There are so many great people out there! If you haven’t met one of them, it’s probably because you need to get out more and seek out positive people.. especially if they aren’t seeking after you. There is such a great energy that is felt when interacting with inspiring people. Just the other day, I was touched by a woman’s inner beauty as I was going through a check-out line at a nearby grocery store. At the time I was having a bad day, but as she spoke to me, my spirit was encouraged and I even managed to contort my face … Continue reading One Life to Live

Speechless.
Approaching someone you’re attracted to can be very intimidating at times. Some people are cool with being rejected.. they can go up to one person after another, and get rejected every time.. haha 🙂 – that’s not me, I hate rejection, but I’m starting to believe that I need to feel rejection in order to appreciate the feelings of acceptance that a good relationship can bring. Can having the right words to say dramatically increase a man’s chance in getting a woman’s attention when approaching her, or do they even matter? One of my friends advocates this, and I feel the … Continue reading Speechless.
Love Is More Than Words..

John Mayer – The Heart of Life
John Mayer – The Heart of Life I hate to see you cry Lying there in that position There’s things you need to hear So turn off your tears and listen Pain throws your heart to the ground Love turns the whole thing around No, it won’t all go the way it should But I know the heart of life is good You know it’s nothing new Bad news never had good timing Then the circle of your friends Will defend the silver lining Pain throws your heart to the ground Love turns the whole thing around No, it won’t … Continue reading John Mayer – The Heart of Life

It’s Not You, It’s Me!
Why can’t this work? Who is at fault in this relationship; is it you, is it me? “It’s not you, it’s me..” – is a line generally given to help ease the emotional process that occurs when ending a relationship. If you haven’t … Continue reading It’s Not You, It’s Me!
