Christians: REAL TALK

I’ve been thinking about LIFE and how so many people have a different perspective on how to live it… now, that may not seem like that means anything, but I promise you that most people wake up every morning and go about their day without giving ample thought or consideration to the things which are the most meaningful in their own life. “So what exactly have you been thinking about”… you may ask? For the last few days I have been thinking on several issues that many Christians, specifically, have various opinions on; and I just wanted to discuss my opinions … Continue reading Christians: REAL TALK

Bear One Another’s Burdens

Today I just felt inspired to make a YouTube video on “BEARING ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS”. I feel that as we HELP each other, show LOVE to each other, SHARE our feelings and experiences with one another, and ENCOURAGE those around us, we will in turn make our world a better place. Because I want to make my life better… and I hope you do as well. Take a look at it. Hope you enjoy and benefit from it. 🙂 🙂 ♥ U! Continue reading Bear One Another’s Burdens

Be You

Sometimes the hardest thing in life to do, is to be you. Even though that seems so easy, it can be so hard to at times. I understand that we all have personalities that are so complex…there is no one who acts a certain way all the time in all situations, everyone knows that. As I’ve been living in Los Angeles it easy to see the tremendous pressure that is placed on people to be someone they’re not, or to act a certain way or live a certain lifestyle as if it was their own. One thing I love about … Continue reading Be You

Christmas 2012

The past few days haven’t been the greatest of times for me at all. In fact, in the last two weeks I have gone through so much emotional distress and experienced unexpected tragedies which tested my inner strength and my core beliefs. So, being that today is Christmas, I really didn’t expect to feel the Christmas spirit… like singing Christmas carols, or giving and receiving gifts, or even celebrating the day with a special someone. And, honestly I really didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. But, I ended up visiting a friend’s family and I spent Christmas evening … Continue reading Christmas 2012

We All Are The Same, Yet I Am Unique

It’s been a little over two weeks now since I left Louisiana to pursue a more meaningful purpose-filled fulfilling life in California. As I look back on the journey of my life, including all the experiences and relationships that I can remember from my childhood, to my adolescence, to my years as a naive teenager, and throughout all the years of my adulthood up until this point… I can definitely see clearly how unique my life has been. The experiences a person has in their life is what makes them who they are, and it establishes their identity (how they … Continue reading We All Are The Same, Yet I Am Unique

Sunday Inspiration

This morning I woke up really tired and uninspired… and even though I’m smiling at my words, because I know it sounds or reads a little depressing — nonetheless, it’s true. So, let me take a some time and look into my Bible for some inspiring words. This morning, I have decided to read a Psalm of David. Though I read the Bible often, I rarely read through the Book of Psalms. It’s unlike any other book in the Bible; it’s a book that doesn’t read easily chapter to chapter, because each chapter is written from a different perspective. It’s … Continue reading Sunday Inspiration
