Christians: REAL TALK

I’ve been thinking about LIFE and how so many people have a different perspective on how to live it… now, that may not seem like that means anything, but I promise you that most people wake up every morning and go about their day without giving ample thought or consideration to the things which are the most meaningful in their own life. “So what exactly have you been thinking about”… you may ask? For the last few days I have been thinking on several issues that many Christians, specifically, have various opinions on; and I just wanted to discuss my opinions … Continue reading Christians: REAL TALK

Obama and Government

As our government faces it’s first shutdown since the Clinton administration[1] because of the Affordable Care Act (which is really known as ObamaCare) funding not being passed in the House (which the Republicans have the majority), I begin to look at all the things which our government placed a priority on, when they could’ve been giving more attention to solving more pertinent problems in our country. And I feel that both parties, Republican and Democrats are at fault for this government shutdown, which affects the lives of real people and it also lessens our trust we have in government. Bear One Another’s Burdens

Today I just felt inspired to make a YouTube video on “BEARING ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS”. I feel that as we HELP each other, show LOVE to each other, SHARE our feelings and experiences with one another, and ENCOURAGE those around us, we will in turn make our world a better place. As I’ve been living in Los Angeles it easy to see the tremendous pressure that is placed on people to be someone they’re not, or to act a certain way or live a certain lifestyle as if it was their own. One thing I love about … Continue reading Be You

What’s Your Love Language?

Have you ever felt neglected, or sometimes felt as if you didn’t receive love from someone who you feel, or know, loves you? For me, the answer is “Yes, I have definitely felt  that way before.” I’ve learned that sometimes what I feel may not reflect with what I know to be true, when it comes to feeling loved. So, one day a friend of mine told me about a book called the 5 Love Languages. And, even though I knew that love is shown and received in multiple ways. The book helped me learn about how I viewed love, … Continue reading What’s Your Love Language?

Love At First Sight

Do you believe in Love At First Sight? For some this may be an easy question. I feel only people who have been really heartbroken or those who have been lucky to find their soul mate at a young age are able to pop out a quick response. I recently asked myself this question, because of my feelings for someone I recently met a few weeks ago. And honestly for the past 8 days, she has been constantly on my mind. So, I began to think to myself, pondering through my mental catalog of feelings and past relationship experiences. Then … Continue reading Love At First Sight
